PBS Funds Scholarships at Auburn Montgomery

The Alabama Positive Behavior Supports Center appreciates efforts made by Pre-K through 12 educators in the State of Alabama. Two $1000 AUM School of Education Luau Scholarships were funded through the donations and efforts of our staff.


Alabama Positive Behavior Support Center


Mission Statement

The mission of the Alabama Positive Behavior Support Center is to provide training and technical assistance across Alabama to ensure the fidelity of positive behavior support implementation.

Goals

    1. Provide training and technical assistance to local education agencies to support scaling up of the statewide implementation of positive behavior supports
    2. Work with institutes of higher education to create models of positive behavior support training for pre-service school personnel
    3. Create/continue collaborative partnerships to produce positive academic and social outcomes for all

What is School-Wide Positive Behavior Supports?

In alignment with the National Center of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, the Alabama Positive Behavior Support Center defines School-Wide Positive Behavior Supports as a decision making framework that guides selection, integration, and implementation of the best evidence-based academic and behavioral practices for improving important academic and behavior outcomes for all students.
