Physical Education & Exercise Science

The Department of Physical Education & Exercise Science offers undergraduate programs in Professional Physical Education Teacher Preparation K-12 & Exercise Science. Graduate programs are offered in Exercise Science and Physical Education Teacher Education. In addition, the department offers a variety of sport elective courses available to all students at the university.

Human Performance Lab

Since its creation in the early 1980s, AUM's Human Performance Laboratory has received numerous grants and published over 100 paper in areas related to, cholesterol studies, body image studies, metabolic and cardiovascular responses to various physical activity, and pilates exercise. More
