The AUM Early Learning Center is nationally accredited through the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All staff members have been cleared by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation and are certified by the Red Cross in CPR and first aid. We strive to maintain a pupil-teacher ratio of 6:1, which affords all children individualized attention. All staff members are highly qualified to care for and provide an exemplary education for your child. Part-time staff members are teacher education candidates in their final year of undergraduate preparation in Early Childhood Education. Substitute teachers all have undergraduate degrees in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Full time staff members have advanced degrees in Early Childhood Education.
