Mrs. Lisa Highfield, Director

Director of the Auburn University at Montgomery Early Learning Center.  Mrs. Highfield has over 23 years of experience as a public school general education teacher, special education teacher, and special education administrator.

Mrs. Highfield also served as an administrator with the Alabama State Department of Education.  She has served on numerous preschool task forces and committees, and has developed and supervised public school preschool programs.  Her interests include Early Childhood Education, Special Education and Mentoring.

Mrs. Laura Wildman, Curriculum Coordinator

Laura is the lead teacher of the AUM Early Learning Center. She has nine years of experience working as a preschool special education teacher for Auburn City Schools and is excited to take on this new role as curriculum coordinator of the AUM ELC.  

Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and five month old son, as well as traveling to visit family in Nashville, TN, where she is originally from.
