Early Childhood Special Education (P-3)

More than just about any other career field, teaching special education requires a person with a special set of skills. It takes special knowledge, strong teaching skills, compassion, humor, creativity and patience. If you have the desire, the Auburn Montgomery Masters program in Special Education will provide you the specific skills needed to teach young children identified with specific disabilities.

Through coursework and laboratory experiences within the professional studies component of each program, we'll help you develop the cognitive and affective skills that will enable you to become a successful, competent, committed, reflective educator.
